Updated January 1, 2026

As with everything we do, striving for full compliance at all times with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is a top priority.

GDPR compliance is a journey, so be sure to stay tuned to this page for updates and a breakdown of the many aspects of data privacy that are being implemented on JeffSanders.com.

Also, feel free to ask any questions or provide feedback in the form below.

What We’ve Done So Far

  1. Updated the Privacy Policy. This is the organic bread and (vegan) butter of GDPR and we’ve got a whole new Privacy Policy to address just about everything.
  2. Updated the Website Security Protocol. The Website Security page has additional clarifications on how JeffSanders.com is protected, as well as what happens in the event of a security breach.
  3. Added Data Requests. All site visitors can now request access to their data that we store on our servers. Visitors can also correct any errors, or delete all of their data, if they wish.
  4. Updated Data Retention Policies. We identified all the areas where we collect Personally Identifiable Information, removed unnecessary data, and reviewed our standards for data collection and retention in each area.
  5. Updated User Accounts. We switched to Learn+ by ThriveCart as our 3rd party membership software to provide user accounts for paid products on servers managed outside of jeffsanders.com.
  6. Reviewed Our Partners’ Policies. We reviewed our list of key business partners and suppliers who process data and ensured they all meet the Privacy Shield requirements and have suitable processes in place to protect your data.
  7. Added Additional Privacy Policy Links. All site visitors can now easily access the Privacy Policy in the footer on any JeffSanders.com webpage, including sales pages and checkout pages.
  8. Updated Checkout Pages. All customers have a new “Terms and Conditions” link to consent to upon checkout. EU residents will now see a “Cookie Notification” message.
  9. Added a “Cookies” Acceptance Notification. There is a new cookies pop up notification bar on the bottom of the site when you first visit. After acceptance, your settings will remain intact for 12 months, or until you clear the cookies from your browswer, whichever comes first.
  10. Switched Email Service Providers. We transitioned to Kit as our primary email service provider. Among a myriad of benefits, Kit provides clarity and simplicity with “active consent” email opt-ins for EU residents.

What We’re Working on Now

  • Privacy Policy Updates. There is always more to be done when it comes to privacy, which is why we’re committed to regular updates and keeping tabs on any GDPR regulatory changes.
